Day 1: Arrival - Homestay - Dinner - Dance of the Mountainpeople
We will pick you up at Chiang Rai International Airport or from the bus or trainstation.Then will drive you to the part of town known as Mu Ban Naglei to our guesthouse "Namchong Garden". There you will have the opportunity to rest from your tiring journey. In the evening we will habe a BBQ at a campfire while the mountainpeople Aka and Lahu perform traditional dances for you. We will sit in a laid back atmosphere while we will discuss the programm for the following days.

Day 2: Chiang Sean - Golden Triangle - Mea Sai - Doi Dung
After breakfast we will travel in an airconditioned minibus to Chiang Sean. You will get insights of the 700 year old town and see the still existing centuries old citywall. Then we will drive to the famous "Golden Triangle".
There you can vistit an opium museum. Then we will walk to the temple Wat Bu Kao. You will have a magnificent view over the boarders of the three countries Laos, Thailand and Burma as well as over the famous Mekkong River.
We will continue to Mea Sai. There you will be able to travel into Burma. For a fee of 5 $ you can cross the boarder and buy souvenires. Then we will drive to Doi Dung. Where there used to be opium field are now tea and coffee plantations as well as fruit gardens.The project "Doi Dung" is very succesfull. After an tiring trip we will return to "Namchong Garden" and enjoy dinner.

Day 3: Elephant riding - Waterfall - Overnight stay in the village Lahu
After breakfast we will go to an elephant camp. We will take a two hour ride on the elephants and will get to know the beautiful landscape.
After that we will walk to the Hoi Mea Sai waterfall. If you wish you can go for a swim there.
Then we will go back to the village Lahu where we will all eat to gether and spend the night. There will be traditional music while the Lahu dance is being performed. An evening you will never forget. What is a luxurious hotel when you can have a sky with millions of stars over you.

Day 4: Departure
We will have breakfast depending on the time of you flight. Then we will take you to the airport (or bus/trainstation). There you will receive a small surprise so that you can keep us in good memory.
